The idea of Rocsan Apartments was born in 2010, when Rocío Santander noticed the need for fully furnished apartments in Otavalo. The name of the project comes directly from her own name: Roc-io San-tander → Rocsan, a personal reflection of her vision and commitment.

This concept was inspired and strengthened by Rocío’s professional experience in hospitality and tourism for more than 10 years in Europe, where she learned the importance of providing accommodations that offer the comfort of a true home anywhere in the world. At the same time, she realized that despite being a popular tourist destination, Otavalo lacked a service that allowed visitors to arrive, settle in, and immediately feel at home.

Since then, the project has been warmly welcomed by travelers from all over the world. We take pride in having met the needs of our guests, whether for short or long stays, but above all, in having created unique connections and lasting friendships with those who have stayed with us.
